Product Overview

The Bellows Assembly includes the bellows, a base and housing. A pressurized driving gas compresses bellows and bellows in turn deliver ventilation to patient. These bellows are placed inside a cylindrical housing. The housing is a rigid plastic outer chamber with ribs which is mountable and seals the bellows. For ascending bellows ventilators, bellows are attached to the base of the housing. Escape of driving gases leads to hypoventilation which means an increased amount of carbon dioxide in the blood. The housing prevents these leaks that can occur in bellows assembly by covering the bellows. The housing contains an air poppet and is transparent. It can be easily removed and locked to the base portion. Any dust like powder on the bellows housing or on the bellows can be cleaned easily by applying a thin layer of KRYTOX lubricant to the ribs of the bellows housing.
